Until now, your little one had resisted the invasions of these ugly beasts. Do not worry, catching lice is the lot of almost every child. The louse is an insect 2 to 3 mm long, which lives on the hair and feeds on the blood of its "host" that it stings two to four times a day, which explains the itching.
What has to be done :
- See you at the pharmacy. Your pharmacist will offer you different treatments. Classic, they contain a chemical insecticide and are applied for the night.
- In the early morning, dead lice are removed with a shampoo, and the nits, based on the root of the hair, with a fine comb.
- Avoid sprays that may be inhaled.
